Anxiety Treatment in San Clemente, CA
Anxiety can keep you stuck in worry, avoiding situations, and bracing for the next panic attack. For many people it also brings loneliness: social anxiety makes it harder to connect, and isolation makes anxiety worse. Our PHP and IOP programs help adults in Orange County break that cycle with evidence-based treatment and a supportive community.
Our admissions team can answer your questions, verify your insurance, and help you decide whether PHP or IOP is the right level of care, usually in one call.
If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room. Our programs are outpatient and are not a substitute for emergency care.

How We Treat Anxiety

Signs It May Be Time for More Support
• Constant worry you cannot turn off
• Panic attacks, or fear of having one
• Avoiding work, social events, driving, or leaving home
• Intense self-consciousness or fear of judgment
• Physical symptoms like a racing heart, tension, or poor sleep
• Isolation that has grown as anxiety has grown
Our Approach
We teach clients to recognize anxiety early and respond with tools that work. DBT distress tolerance and mindfulness lower the intensity in the moment. Gradual, supported exposure helps clients face what they have been avoiding. Cognitive work targets the what-if thinking that fuels worry. For social anxiety, group therapy is itself part of the treatment.
PHP or IOP for Anxiety?
PHP (about 6 hours a day) fits people whose anxiety has made work, school, or daily functioning hard.
IOP (3 hours a day) is for people who need more than weekly therapy but can keep up with daily responsibilities. California residents can also join the Evening Virtual IOP, 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
Community Is Part of the Cure
Isolation and anxiety reinforce each other. That is why Community Building is one of our core approaches. Clients leave treatment with better coping skills and with real experience of belonging, plus a plan for building connection after discharge.
